MEALS
We offer healthy and delicious home-cooked meals, always
present to the reality that many will not eat as well as we will.
Breakfast: Granola cereal
and yogurt, fresh-baked morning breads and muffins, and juice. Sunday morning is homemade pancakes as well as the normal
fare.
Lunch: Harvest-style cobb salads with fresh greens accompanied by an assortment of
dried fruits, cheeses and veggies. We also offer an apple and cheese plate.
Dinner:
Chicken or fish, roasted ragout of vegetables, potatoes, salad and dessert.
The
Open Gate also will accomodate individuals with special dietary needs or requirements, such as those with wheat or nut allergies
and those who are on a strict vegetarian diet
Iced tea, lemonade and water are served with all meals, as
well as coffee and hot tea throughout the day
NOTE: If arrival is expected for your group
after 6 p.m. on Friday, we will offer a light dinner of salads, soup and bread
